Hee hee, yes, as in much of the Ritchie films' design, aesthetics seem to have taken priority over authenticity :) But he does indeed look very good in that uniform; personally, I'm not complaining!

I wonder if that Northumberland Hussar uniform is what they were referencing with Panin's blue jacket in New Russian Holmes's "Rock, Paper, Scissors"?
