Same re Gregson & Lestrade! I quite like Gregson so far, but maybe as mightymads said ACD favoured Lestrade due to his scepticism?

Holmes and Watson's developing dynamic is fabulous because it is delightful to see how strong their fledgling relationship already is and much stronger it grows to be.
