Since the journal profile mentioned posting recommendations for Victorian Sherlock fanworks, I thought I would give a link to a great multi-fandom recommendation site. Unfortunately, it has been closed to new posts for five years now, but has a whole decade of recommendations preserved in it and I still find it very useful. The site remains on LJ and is called crack-van. The link goes straight to the Sherlock Holmes section of the site, which includes a mix of current and Victorian Holmes works.
Perhaps you already know about crack-van, but in case you didn't, I thought I'd offer the link. It really is a treasure trove.
