Fic: Journeys End In Lovers’ Meeting

I had long had an idea of a fic from Holmes’s POV about the events before and after Reichenbach. It’s from a johnlock angle, and of course there are things which Watson didn’t mention in his published stories: that Moriarty made attempts on his life and Sherlock did everything to keep John from harm. That John was left in the dark about Sherlock’s fate only for a month during which John’s behaviour became downright self-destructive, so Sherlock, having learned of that, found a way to let John know, and from then on John was waiting for him for three years. An amazing piece of art by ireallyshouldbedrawing facilitated writing of this story. The scene depicted in the art should be covered in chapter 3, so there’s more to come :)

Summary: The events preceding the Great Hiatus and later the heartfelt reunion with Sherlock Holmes were described by Dr. Watson in his published accounts. However, as the Doctor himself admitted, for the sake of propriety, some facts had to be suppressed.
