Hey all,

would anyone be interested in a prompt/kinkmeme at ao3, for all Victorian Holmes nonsense?

Waiiiiiit, what is that? Is it possible to set up a kinkmeme on ao3? How?

(Oh and yes, I totally would, I've just only ever encountered lj/dw kinkmemes because I live under a rock haha)

Yes, AO3 has them available! It's a nice little system because all the archiving/finding fills etc. stuff that makes kinkmemes a ton of work is done by the archive software.

I have a collection mostly set up and ready to go.....

(eta: the setup is through the "collections" process. if you make a new collection you have the option to set it up as a prompt meme.)

It does! I hadn't set up one on AO3 before but it is a pretty well-thought-out process.

Thanks for setting it up! :) I've never participated before. One needs to come up with a few prompts to sign up? Also, let's promote it on Tumblr! If you posted the link there, I'd reblog it.

I believe you can claim a prompt without signing up, the way I set it up. :)

What will be with propmts which won’t be filled by the end of the first round? Will it be still possible to fill them during next rounds?

The way I set it up, it should allow fills forever, but close to new prompts after the first round, allowing a new round of prompting.

Hey, I’ve got an idea where Victorian Holmes kinkmeme could be promoted. How about fandomcalendar? It’s said in the guidelines that it’s allowed to promote kinkmemes there, and it has over a thousand of subscribers. Might be worth a shot. I really wish that Vic Holmes takes off because the idea is great. Slowly plodding away on my own claim, but the muse is not cooperative of late. Anyways, hoping to finish it soon
